At Signature Blinds and Shutters, we offer a free no-obligation measure and quote service. This means we are more than willing to arrange a visit to your home, showing you samples from leading manufacturers – in case you are unsure which option would be best for your requirements. We can then advise which products may be best suited to your needs.
Blinds
All our standard blinds (Venetians, Rollers, Verticals, Pleated, perfect fit and most motorized blinds Roof blinds) are made in the UK from Wimbledon to Nottingham to Scotland.
We have worked with a number of manufacturers who have been making blinds for over 30 years, so we have carefully selected who we think are the best to work with, and who are most suited to us, and you, our customer.
Lead times from these suppliers are usually two to three weeks, but we do have our busy times of the year. One of these is the run-up to Christmas, so our leads times can increase slightly. If we are running slightly late with a delivery, don’t worry, we will immediately be in touch with you to discuss your fitting date.
All our blinds come with a 2-year guarantee.
Depending on the size of your project and how many blinds are being fitted, installation can take a few hours only, or a full day’s fitting depending on the size of the project.
Plantation Shutters
Our Shutters have been carefully sourced, and we know that we are working with the leading supplier in the UK, who have sourced and distributed shutters from the far east into the UK for the last 15 years.
Our shutters come with a 5-year guarantee.
There are two options: Firstly, the most popular option is to have your shutters shipped over – lead times for this option are 4 to 6 weeks and comes with a free delivery.
Our shutters are carefully boxed and wrapped and are only opened once we reach your home to fit them. Sometimes we can have delays at the shipping ports. For this reason we will only give you your fitting date once your shutters have reached our showroom and we have them in person. Depending on the size of the shutters and how many windows are involved, fitting times can be from a few hours, to a day or two depending on the size of the project.
Awnings
We feel our award-winning German made Awnings are extra-special, and because they are made from only the best materials sourced from around the world, we consider them to be the Bentley of the Awnings industry.
Our lead times for our awnings are 2 to 3 weeks when the season is slow in the winter months, and 3 to 4 weeks at the height of the season which starts from spring until the end of British summer time.
When we survey your home or commercial premises, we will advise you on the day if we need special brackets for your awnings. These are made in the UK and lead times can be from 2 to 4 weeks depending on the lead times from manufacturing to powered coating the brackets.
Our UK awning suppliers lead times are around 2 to 3 weeks depending on the size of the awning. Fitting them can take a few hours only, to a full day depending on the size of the project and how many awnings are being installed
